Allegra will be 35 on August 4th! Sheila will be 35 on August 17th! Nathan will... not be 35, on July 25th! With so much awesome happening all at once, and to make it easier on our legions of fans, we've decided to join forces to create the Gigantic Awesome Birthday of Awesomeness.
Awesome Part One! We will meet at the Musee Mechanique on Pier 45 at 5pm. Bring a roll of quarters and play games from the past!
Awesome Part Two! We will MUNI, cable car, and/or drive to the Naan-n-Curry at 336 O'Farrell St. for delicious Indian food at about 730!
Awesome Part Three! Well we are finding out just how much ambiguity and change we can handle in our plans!
Bourbon and Branch seems to have no record of our request to gather in the library on Saturday night. However their management has kindly offered us the loft space at their other bar, Swig, right around the corner at 561 Geary Street, between Taylor and Jones. www.swigbar.com

In homage to the retro theme of these awesome undertakings (OK, so Naan-n-Curry isn't too retro, but I suppose we can thank the British Empire for the English obsession with Indian food...), feel free to dress in your jaunty best. Tiny hats encouraged. And you certainly may join us at any point along our Journey of Awesomeness.

Awesome Part Four! After you've made your way home and slept off that rich helping of awesomeness, join us at Mosswood Park in Oakland, near the 36th and Webster entrance, for a Sunday picnic! Starting at 2pm, please bring food to share, plus beverages, blankets, and other picnic needs. Walking distance from the MacArthur BART. We may not have grill access so plan accordingly.
This part of the Gigantic Awesome Birthday of Awesomeness is also a SPECIAL GOODBYE SENDOFF for Rachel as she embarks on her journey toward her PhD in Santa Cruz, and a late celebration of her birthday! WATCH THE AWESOME LEVELS CLIMB INTO THE STRATOSPHERE!
