Howdy,
Well, I'm holding a real big event. It's a high-tech career fair here in Austin, TX for an online + face-to-face community of technology professionals I started last year. I just tried to invite some more people, and I received this message: 'Sorry, the number of invitations you are trying to send exceeds the limit for this event.' Yes, I'm pulling ~5K invites....but this is one of the reasons I'm using Socializr versus Evite. All the people are folks who have joined my site (door64.com). I have used Socializr in the past for my rather large March '08 happy hour, and because it worked so well, I came back. Can you help me out? This is all for a good cause (finding high-tech professionals jobs here in Austin). Thanks for you consideration. Cheers, Matt Genovese |

Hi Matt,
Thanks for using Socializr. 5k is really the outer limit of what we can offer you at this time. Even with an extremely high quality list like yours, an event of this scale inevitably generates a fair number of bounces, blocks, and spam complaints. The limits are in place to keep these to a minimum, and in most cases are quite generous. I'm sorry we can't make this exception for you- I do recognize the legitimacy of your event, and I appreciate you using Socializr for an event of this caliber. Larry |
